“Our Stories, Our Culture, Our Battersea.”

Battersea this is your festival!

A Festival For Everyone

The Battersea Community Festival exists to celebrate the people, places, and spirit of our vibrant part of South West London. It’s a joyful, inclusive event, showcases Battersea’s unique character, from its creative communities and cultural roots to its buzzing businesses, charities and changemakers.

With live music, dance, workshops, games, food, community stalls, and a main stage hosted by Riverside Radio, the festival is a chance for neighbours, friends and families to enjoy a day of fun, discovery and local pride.

What’s Happening This Year?

  • Main Stage Performances – Entertainment featuring local musicians, dancers and performers
  • Food – Delicious dishes
  • Creative Workshops – Hands-on activities for all ages.
  • Children’s Fun Fair – Rides to enjoy
  • Community & Market Stalls – Local businesses, organisations, makers and charities
  • Kids Zone – Games, soft play, sports, face-painting, storytelling and more for little ones.
  • Battersea Fire Station – London Fire Brigade open day with interactive displays and activities.

Why the Festival Matters

In 2025, Wandsworth is officially the London Borough of Culture, and Battersea is taking centre stage. This year’s theme “Our Stories, Our Culture, Our Battersea” invites residents to reflect on who we are, where we come from, and what we share.

The festival is more than just a great day out. It’s a celebration of identity, belonging and community pride. It gives a platform to local voices, highlights grassroots creativity, and builds bridges between people, cultures and generations. It’s Battersea at its best!
